In open type cooling systems, heated water is cooled by air cooling evaporation of recirculating water. For this reason, there are the possibilities of system troubles like below.

1] The heat exchange loss and pipe choking are occurred by inorganic scales such as carbonate, sulfate and silicate generated in dissolved salts concentration by air cooling evaporation.
2] The pipe corrosion is occurred by corrosive ion coming from the open air into cooling water.
3] The heat exchange loss and pipe choking are occurred by slime-forming microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and algae coming from outside open air. Moreover, it becomes the hotbed of disease-causing bacteria which is diffused with recirculating water mist.
